Metonymy Association was founded with a purpose to expand the knowledge and views of young people that practice the art of film making. 

Our main goal is exploring limits of film expression and establish solid grounds for development of short films and new media in Split.
In order to achieve this goal, we organize a series of workshops with filmmakers (directors, script writers, actors etc.) educating the young directors and general public on different views on the movie making to broaden their view and encourage them to explore new areas and filming techniques.
